Arambol beach
Arambol is a traditional fisherman village, located approximately a 90 minutes drive from Dabolim Airport (GOI) within the Pernem administrative region of North Goa, India. The Kharghar station is the nearest one to Arambol Beach Goa in Panvel. The beach attracts many international tourists, mainly during the winter season between November and March.
It is also famous for the sweet water lagoon or lake that is located at the end of the adjacent beach i.e. Kalacha beach. It is accessible only on foot and its shallow waters are wonderfully calm to swim in. The sand here is also known to have healing properties. One of the many reasons why I insist that you visit this beach in Goa is because of the hippie culture that’s still predominant here. Secondly, the tunnel layout at the end of the beach is something you won’t see anywhere else in Goa. Lastly, you will even find a sweet water lake at the end of this tunnel
Indians are not allowed to stay in the famed shacks on this beach.One of the most beautiful beaches in North Goa, Arambol or Harmal Beach is a must-see on your holiday in the state. You will see Yoga centres near the beach which provide you with short and long-term classes. You may see some people doing yoga at the beach. The water at this beach is very calm and anyone can swim here.
